When weary, return to The Source of your strength © ~Kim-Evinda

When you feel as if your work is never done, how do you get through it?

Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United. Today’s message is a great reminder for all of us, whether you’re a mom of little humans or a mom to teenagers, or a surrogate mom who serves others, our work never goes unnoticed by our Audience of One who loves us and strengthens us to do all He’s called us to do.

The days are long

Mama, I know

You feel alone

You feel like even after everything is checked

There’s still more to do

It’s not enough

You second guess

Wondering what you are even doing this for

But sit

For a minute

Take a breath

Invite His Spirit in

Let Him whisper this:

Your prayers have been heard

Your tears have been seen

I know you are crying out to Me

Do you believe?

That I am here

In the midst of everything

Late night feeds

I see

Tears in the kitchen sink

Wash down to Me
Remember when you serve the least

You are serving Me

Your home welcomes Me

Your worship brings joy to Me

I hear the songs you sing

I hear the words you cry out

I hear everything

I am there with you in the room

As you place on those little shoes

I watch as you discipline

With the best of intention

I see you lose your temper

& then remember

These little ones

Are still so young

& all they need is you

Their mum

You are everything to them

& You are everything to Me

I have entrusted you with their little hearts

So that on the day we meet

You’ll get to show Me who they’ve become

& I’ll get to say, daughter, well done

“For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you [h]brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me.

Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink?

And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You?
And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You?

And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least of these My brethren, you did it for Me.” – Matthew 25:35-40
