When life has you down, look up© ~Kim-Evinda

A very helpful Biblical principle and promise talks about taking thoughts that are not uplifting captive.

Thanks for joining us for Monday’s Message with Abigail Rice and Trench Classes United.
So how do we do this? Today’s poem is a great reminder that we are here but temporarily, and that our heavenly home is where true freedom lies.

Like a chrysalis
A cocoon
Just waiting
To bloom
Through the winds
and the rain
Steady she stays
Knowing that one day soon
She will get to spread her wings and fly

Fly away

Knowing that every moment
She thought she would break
A silent whisper would seem to say
Just wait
Keep going
Hold on
For you are about to see

A new dawn
A new day
Knowing when you wake
This was all worth the wait

Keep the light
Keep the faith
and I AM
Will keep you safe

“Our inner selves wait [earnestly] for the Lord; He is our Help and our Shield.
For in Him does our heart rejoice, because we have trusted (relied on and been confident) in His holy name. Let Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, be upon us, in proportion to our waiting and hoping for You.” – Psalm 33:20-22

“Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!” – Psalm 31:24

Love,
Abigail
