In His Love Letters to us, John the Baptist coins this profound statement which exudes humility: He must increase and I must decrease.
Thanks for joining us for Faith-Filled Friday with Debra Dolce and Trench Classes United. Today’s Love Letter is a great reminder that God’s economy is so unlike ours. It’s a different type of mathematical equation wherein the more we allow Him to guide us, the less we will crave the things of this world that don’t serve us.
~Love Letter~
“It is necessary for Him to increase and for me to decrease.” The same is true for you. The more you desire Me to move in you, the more your old thoughts and ways will be removed from you. The more I increase in you so I can work through you, the less you will desire the “things” of this world.
Pursue the Kingdom things like it’s the last thing you’ll ever do. Remember only the things you do for Me will endure. Let every desire you have be turned around to produce good around you for your good and My glory.
As you’re working for Me with the right attitude and the right motivation, you’ll be surprised at the anointing that will come upon you to accomplish what I have for you.
The more you decrease, the more I’ll be seen through you. Others will desire what you have, even though they do not know Me. I desire an army of believers that desire to allow Me to be seen through them; to show the world there is something that will make a difference.
Does your faith match your life? Can you take Me to the streets and produce results? Remember, the closer My return, the more aggressive the world gets. You need to know how to fight this. Remember Scripture tells you that you don’t wrestle with flesh and blood but principalities and powers of the air. You need to know how to war in the Spirit realm, with the Holy Spirit.
Build yourself up so you can be a mighty warrior through the Spirit, allowing Me to shine through you.
Beloved, do not be afraid or intimidated by the enemy’s tactics but be strong in Me, and in the power of My might.
