Hello, my name is Evinda Lepins, founder and president of Chicklit Power Ministries (CPM), doing business as Trench Classes United. Reflecting on this journey, I’m humbled and amazed by how this ministry has grown from a single book to a thriving non-profit dedicated to helping others survive and thrive in life and love. Here’s how it all began:

Timeline of Key Milestones

• 2008
  • Completed my first book, The Men In and Out of Her Life.
  • Created the website www.chicklitpower.com.
  • Launched the blog Coffee Hour @ Chicklit Power, featuring the series “Loving the Unlovable/Difficult People in Your Life.”
  • Hosted our first workshop, launching the Coffee Hour Series: A Cup of Encouragement for the Day, and set the mission to help people thrive in life and love.
• 2009
  • Partnered with Steve, my former therapist and board member, to launch a Blog Talk Radio show covering a wide range of relationship topics. The show ran for two and a half years.
  • It was continued with writing, workshops, book signings, and building our audience.
• 2011
  • Transitioned from hosting workshops to offering Relationship Trench Classes, inspired by the book How We Love by Milan and Kay Yerkovich. These classes continued for two years.
• 2012
  • Achieved Non-Profit status, formalizing our mission to support others in cultivating meaningful relationships.
• 2013
  • Began writing and developing a four-part curriculum, Transform: An In-depth Study of Any Wound, Weakness, or Worry, which became the foundation of our relationship classes.
  • Spent the next three years refining Transform while training and developing leaders and facilitators to expand our mission.
